The short version: I’m 27, I live in Georgia (the state, not the country), and I owe just over $73k in student loans. In 2011, I paid off my undergraduate loans, which were just over $12k. I’m working to pay off just under $5,500 in 2014, to bring my graduate school loans under $68k by December 31, 2014.
The slightly less short version: Most of my posts revolve around life, money, and the occasional absurdness of both. I have a degree in psychology and another in public health policy, which really just means that I spend far too much time inside my own head. Last year, I wrote a lot about my five part-time jobs. This year, I’m down to one full-time job involving a fair amount of data, and two part-time jobs involving a fair amount of children. This means I spend a little less time worrying over money, and a little more time reading. It’s a pretty good trade-off.
